Steve Slaton recently attended a community meeting at the Heber-Overgaard Fire District Station to speak out against the Navajo County Papermill Wind project. Slaton condemned the green energy boondoggle and called out the project’s developer BluEarth for its past ownership by a Canadian teachers’ union, apparent financial problems, and its ownership by the Dutch infrastructure fund overseas.
